About Kim
Kim is a dedicated voice over artist trained in commercial, animation, medical narration, video games, corporate narration, dubbing, broadcast narration and audiobooks. From her first ever voiceover audition for the voice of a penguin she was hooked!
Kim is a graduate of the On The Mic Comprehensive Voice-over Accredited Diploma Program and it is her love of story telling, creating fun characters and being able to really connect to the audience that drives her passion for VO. Her voice has a wide dynamic range from friendly, warm and authentic to high energy, comedic and powerful.
Kim has a background in acting and dance and, when not in the booth, performs in various theatre, film and TV projects. In 2018 she dipped her toe into the writing sphere (a first for her) to co-create Cottage Country, an original warm and funny show about life at the cottage.
On her journey from child actor to adult actor and voiceover artist her life took a detour into the world of science. Kim is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program. Kim worked for a time as a clinical consultant pharmacist. Little did she know at the time that this would be beneficial to her voiceover career. Her background allows her to comprehend complex medical concepts and terminology (scary I know) making her a great fit for medical narration.
She is a creative, versatile, generous performer with a broadcast quality home studio. When not on the mic just follow the tunes and you’ll find her bopping to the beat while whipping up new recipes and spoiling her fur-babies.
